About Facilitator

 Hi, I am Shelley the founder of Helping Other People Evolve. It is with both pleasure and excitement that I am introducing myself on this platform.

Over the past 15yrs I have built a suit of qualifications, experience and tools to support people experiencing many different challenges in life, and here is where I am sharing them with you.

I am qualified in counselling, social science, art therapy, and sound and energy healing including SoulNar. My passion lies in alternative therapeutic approaches which are woven into my offerings.

My work experience prior to opening my own business 4 years ago, ranges across services such as family violence, child development, trauma and the developing brain, out of home care, correctional services and child and family services. This has resulted in a deep trauma informed lens being created both from a scientific framework but more importantly from a spiritual aspect.  Since stepping out as an independent therapist, I have continued to support children with complex learning needs via the NDIS as well as sub-contracting to an occupational therapist, supporting people of all ages and diversities. This has further added to my skills and understanding of people and their uniqueness.

Over the past decade I have been journeying deeply within to understand who I am and what misbeliefs about myslef I have carried with me along the way. Gaining insight and understanding into these core wounds has enabled me to work on rewiring my beliefs about myself to reflect a positive more accurate narrative for my earthly experience . By doing this it has bought me into alignment with my soul's purpose and I am now ready to step into my power and support you, whatever phase of your journey you are exploring.
